Road Trip 2005 Multimedia Experience

Okay, I’ve finally got enough to post. So far there are pics and brief 1 minute audio webclips for you to check out. Each webclip corresponds somewhat with the picture it’s posted with and most are exclusive to the website, meaning you won’t hear this stuff on the podcast. I find it especially enjoyable to listen to clips from, say, the ocean, because it makes me feel like I’m there again. I will try to keep the Road Trip page updated along with the chronology of the podcast, but I make no promises. Video clips coming soon.

This takes a bunch of work, I hope everyone enjoys it. Please leave comments with this post. Here’s the link:

Result of Web Poll #2: We will pour some sugar on our trombones!

Well, the voting is over. Def Leppard went out to an early lead, but Turning Japanese made a run and tied it. But in the end, our favorite glam rockers with the one-armed drummer had too much. So on our next podcast, you can look forward to “Pour Some Sugar on Me”. Thanks for voting!!! We already have one in the hopper for next week, but we will let you vote again in two weeks…. email your suggestions or post a comment- this is your chance to request your favorite song to be played how you would never want it to be played-by two trombones!!!

Comin’ Home

Hey everyone!!!! Doug and I are in Kentucky on our last day of our trip, and we’ll be home tonight. We have enough ammunition for a bunch of shows, and you will not believe some of the stuff we got up to. Check back often the next few weeks for some new shows, pics, and maybe even videos.

iTunes has finally sync’d with the new feed features we have, like artist info, description, and the really cool artwork! If you don’t use iTunes (shame on you) check it out:

Web Poll #2: Everyone must vote

We are trying to find a way to figure out how mant people are visiting the site and listening week to week, so we figured if everyone voted once, we could sort of get an idea. Plus, your input has a direct reflection of what happens next week. Which of these songs do you think would be the most ill-advised. If you want, write one in and post a comment, and we’ll get in in next week’s show. Come on y’all, one click!!!

What song would make the most ill-advised trombone duet? Every vote counts.

Give your opinion”Bye, Bye, Bye” by N’Sync”Turning Japanese” by The Vapors”The Sweater Song” by Weezer”Pour Some Sugar on Me” by Def Leppard”In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel

Anyone having any trouble?

I was curious if anyone was having trouble viewing or downloading things from the page. We had reports of difficulty in Austin, TX, but it could just be the funny hats they wear. Let us know at strangebrood@gmail.com.
